Passion and Purpose

Nestled on the renowned Black Sage Road, the heart of Oliver’s wine country, lies our cherished vineyard estate. Spanning 17.5 acres, this land is more than just a vineyard; it’s a story of passion and dedication. The vines grow gracefully perched on a picturesque hillside that reaches an elevation of 1180 feet. This unique location benefits from the exceptional terroir of Black Sage, renowned for its perfect slope, abundant afternoon sunlight, excellent soil drainage, and a frost-free climate, creating an ideal environment for grow a variety of grapes that reflect our commitment to quality and tradition.

Our Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, and Carménère vines have thrived in these conditions, producing wines that embody the spirit of this remarkable region. Each bottle we craft is a labor of love, a testament to the unique characteristics of Black Sage Road and our dedication to sustainable and mindful viticulture.

This harmonious balance allows our grapes to develop rich, complex flavors that are captured in every sip of Otter Trail wines.
